Hill Garden and Pergola
A fun and relaxed wedding was held at Hampstead Heath, London at The Hill Garden and Pergola. And what an amazing venue! Its one of these truly secret places in London that will blow you away. The photo opportunities where just about endless.
Lou is quiet the bubbly character and makes everyone feel at ease. This helped as everyone who came, were set for a great time.
After the ceremony we all boarded a very cool vintage London bus. Then headed to the Garden Gate Hampstead pub for some fabulous food and dance.
The groom, Dan made his speech that was not only the funniest speech I have heard all season but also one of the best pieces of poetry too. It was emotional and poignant. Which came as a surprise to many with his creative prose.
A fantastic band The Super Rollers, played for a couple of hours singing classic wedding songs such as You Can’t Hurry Love, Billie Jean and Sir Duke.
Then a dilemma, what do you do if the guests still want to dance and there is a sound curfew? well Lou and Dan put some great thought into that and came up with a silent disco!
With three channels to choose from, synced to a wireless laptop, classic rock, disco and a bit of techno, the guests danced till quite late! The other pub guest just thought it was cool as the guests wore headphones that lite up with different colours!
The bride and groom had to leave at the stroke of midnight so they could catch a flight in the morning for their honeymoon in the Romantic and exotic Maldives where they had some great adventures exploring the country.
Big shout out to the make up team of Claudia and Kristine
