Victoria and Jarrod had a registry wedding at the Bristol City register office in the spring. It was a beautiful sunny day where only immediate family were witness.
At the end of their ceremony there was a bit of a surprise waiting for Victoria and Jarrod. A group of their very close friends organised themselves to meet outside to shower them with confetti and flower petals. The look on there faces really showed how thoughtful there friends are.
Bristol City Register Office
Immediately after the wedding at Bristol City Register office, I wanted to photograph the true excitement that they have showing on their faces. We went behind the building where there are a couple of pillars where a great background for their portrait. There, Victoria and Jarrod relaxed and had a relaxing moment to share their true feelings.
How I work a Register wedding
At a register wedding, I work quickly to finding those moments that will be treasured for years to come. Your wedding day is special, and time is important. During a register wedding, photographing key moments is the utmost importance because of the time factor. I dont want to take up too much of your time in making photographs. Your day should be nothing more than happy memories with family and friends. I want to work with you so that, your day is just that.
Post ceremony, they have a few minutes to themselves to let the fantastic moment sink in. The nervous energy that was present before the wedding, has left. When this happens, true emotion and is captured on camera. These are the moments great photography comes to its own.
